I have a serious intolerance to sulfites. By far, wines cause my most severe reactions so I had given up enjoying them. Some of the symptoms include a noticeable increase in heart rate, difficulty breathing, and severe chest pain. Since I have cut out sulfites from known sources of food and drink, any small accidental intake triggers an immediate and intense reaction. So, it was with much trepidation that I decided to try Blue Gypsy wines at this year’s Wine and Food Show. I was doubtful, but I chanced a sip of one of their wines, all touted as having no added sulfites. I usually react within one sip to most wines but I had no reaction at all! After that I tried each wine available; 8 delicious flavours. I had the equivalent of probably 2 large glasses of wine and was stunned at the complete lack of reaction. I have since ordered three cases of Blue Gypsy wine and have been enjoying them ever since. “

Blue Gypsy Wines were introduced to me by my daughter and I must say that it was a wonderful experience. I sampled quite a few and finally decided to go and purchase my own supply. To be honest my favorite two are apple and the cranberry …ones – but, yes, there’s always a but I do love them all. The owners are wonderful people, very knowledge about their product and truly enjoy what they are doing. Wishing Blue Gypsy Wines all the best and will certainly continue purchasing their wine.

We discovered Blue Gypsy Wines at the Ottawa Wine and Food show and it immediately became my new favorite thing. I love the cranberry wine. It’s not tart like you would expect from cranberries, it’s just the right sweetness and it’s abso..lutely delicious. The following weekend we went down to Oxford Mills to pick up a few bottles and I can’t wait to get more. Everyone should try these wines; with so many flavors I’m sure there’s one for everyone. Oh, and I love that it doesn’t give me a headache like red wine does.

All of the wines are delicious! The flavors are pure and unmistakable. The amount of care, love and passion that is put into the wines and service makes an incredible difference. I can’t pick a favorite. They are all too good, and I don’t normally like blueberries but your Wild Blueberry is delicious.
